I still remember the first time I slotted Suisui into my team. I had just pulled her on a whim, and honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. A 5-star Glacio support? In a meta that already had plenty of healers and buffers? But after a few hours of testing, I realized she wasn't just another pretty face with a freeze gun. She's a game-changer — if you build her right. And as of 2026, with Version 3.7 just around the corner, the best build for her hasn't changed much. So let me walk you through everything I've learned.

Why Suisui's Kit Demands Energy Regen

Suisui is a 5-star Glacio support who thrives on keeping her team alive while also amplifying their damage. Her entire kit revolves around Energy Regen. The more she has, the more often she can trigger her Resonance Liberation, which restores Concerto Energy and applies Glacio Chafe to enemies. That's why every single piece of her build needs to push that stat as high as possible. I learned this the hard way when I first tried her with a random DPS weapon — her rotations felt clunky, and her buffs fell off before I could even switch characters. Never again. 😅

Best Weapon: Firstlight's Herald (Signature)

If you have the pulls to spare, Firstlight's Herald is non-negotiable. It's her signature weapon, and it's practically tailor-made for her. The 77% Energy Regen alone is massive — it lets Suisui spam her Liberation without worrying about her energy pool. But the real magic happens when she inflicts Glacio Chafe and heals allies at the same time. That combo triggers two effects: Snow Taint and Ripples. Together, they boost your entire team's ATK by 20%.

And here's the kicker: even after Suisui leaves the field, her Outro Skill passes both effects to the next character for a few seconds. So that ATK buff keeps rolling. I've seen my main DPS hit numbers I didn't think were possible just because Suisui was on the team. It's that good.

Budget 5-Star: Stellar Symphony

Not everyone has the Astrites for a signature weapon. I get it. That's where Stellar Symphony comes in. It's essentially a lighter version of Firstlight's Herald, but it still gives Suisui everything she needs: 77% Energy Regen, Concerto Energy restoration, and a 14% team ATK increase. The best part? There are no crazy requirements to activate its effect. All you have to do is heal your allies with her Resonance Skill, and they get buffed for 30 seconds. Simple, effective, and way more accessible.

F2P & 4-Star Option: Variation

Honestly, there's no true F2P weapon that perfectly fits Suisui. I tried a few, and they all felt like I was forcing a square peg into a round hole. That said, Variation is your best bet if you're completely out of 5-star options. The idea is to complete her rotation as fast as possible and switch out before she eats up too much field time. Variation's Concerto Energy generation when casting her Resonance Skill helps with that, and its Energy Regen substat pushes her closer to her target. She won't hit as hard as with her signature, but she'll still apply her buffs and keep your team alive. Just don't expect miracles. 😉

Best Echo Set: Song of Feathered Trace

I find it hilarious that Suisui and Yangyang: Xuanling — siblings — both use the Song of Feathered Trace set, but for completely different reasons. Yangyang's version is DPS-oriented, while Suisui's is purely supportive. When you build her with this set, she increases the team's ATK by 25% based on her Energy Regen. Since her kit already demands high Energy Regen, you'll naturally hit that cap without sacrificing anything. It's a beautiful synergy. And it gives her Glacio Chafe application even more purpose.

Main Echo Choice: Forbidden Bastion

Here's a trap I fell into: I tried giving Suisui the Thousand-Puppet Pavilion main echo because it looked cool. Big mistake. It adds nothing to her kit. Instead, go with Forbidden Bastion. It slightly increases her Healing Bonus, which is exactly what a support wants. It's not flashy, but it's effective. And in a game where every percentage point matters, I'll take effective over flashy any day.

Final Thoughts and Rotation Tips

Suisui isn't a character you can just slap together and expect to work. She needs investment, but once you get her going, she's one of the best supports in Wuthering Waves. My typical rotation looks like this:

1. Use her Resonance Skill to heal and trigger weapon buffs.

2. Inflict Glacio Chafe with her basic attacks or Liberation.

3. Swap out immediately to pass her Outro Skill buffs to your main DPS.

Keep her Energy Regen above 250% if you can, and watch your team's damage skyrocket. With Version 3.7 on the horizon, I'm curious to see if Kuro Games adds any new echo sets or weapons that could shake up her build. But for now, Firstlight's Herald plus Song of Feathered Trace is the way to go. Trust me — I've tested it extensively, and my clear times have never been faster. ❄️🎵

If you're anything like me, the wait between major patches usually means bouncing between a few other games to fill the downtime — clearing your dailies, then hopping onto something completely different while the next banner creeps closer. It's easy to lose track of which titles are actually worth picking up versus which ones just look tempting in a trailer, and even easier to overpay for something that goes on sale a week later. Keeping a rough budget in mind matters just as much here as it does when you're deciding whether to pull or save your Astrite.

That's the thinking behind tools like DealNest, a steam deal finder that tracks price drops across storefronts so you can see at a glance whether a game is at its lowest point or still holding steady. It's a handy companion if your backlog is as long as your echo farming list, and it saves you from refreshing store pages manually every sale season. Once your Suisui build is locked in and your rotation feels automatic, having somewhere to spot a genuine discount means the money you're not spending on overpriced pulls can go somewhere it actually stretches further.
